It is with a great sense of excitement that today we formally announce James Chalmers has joined the team at TACK10 in the capacity of Group President and CEO. In this hybrid role he will oversee overall strategy and operations for the core consulting group, our non-profit and educational programming, and the portfolio of capital investments the company will continue to foster.

James joins TACK10 with an unparalleled track record as a strategic leader. Over the past fifteen years, he has delivered 10x growth and multi-national expansion for three companies across three unique industries. Most recently, James held the role of President at MAKO Design, where he grew the team from four to forty and opened offices in Austin, Texas and London, England over his three-year tenure.

With this separation of responsibilities, Laura Richard remains responsible for all forward facing and client management aspects of the business as EVP and Partner.

“With the unprecedented growth we have experienced over the past 18 months, it became apparent that this restructuring positions us optimally to continue exceeding client expectations as we grow,” says Laura. “James is a visionary business leader. His holistic, strategic approach will drive incredible value for TACK10 and our client partners.”

“Not coming from a marketing background, you might think that much of what TACK10 does may be new to me. However the fact is I’ve been using partnerships to develop value for my companies and our partners my entire career,” says James. “Into my second week, it all just makes sense because the approach with partners is simple. Find out from all stakeholders what their core objectives are and look to align partners strategically.”

James’ extensive background in business development, partnership creation, and innovation is set to propel TACK10 to new heights, and will provide incredible added value to our client partners.

Please help us welcome James to the team, and follow the progress at TACK10 as we continue to perform game-changing partnership work under James’ leadership and direction.
