Last weekend, wireless telecommunications provider, Freedom Mobile was on-site of the Canadian National Exhibition(CNE) inspiring guests about affordable phone plans and sharing in the common troubles associated to wireless phone plans. Freedom held meaningful conversations with CNE guests, raised awareness about Freedom Mobile’s products and services and signed up new customers.
Freedom Mobile was on-site for the first time as a contributing partner of the CNE. Graeme Mackrell, VP of Strategy at TACK10 stated, “Freedom Mobile, the newest player in Canada’s competitive telecommunications category, is continuing to rebrand as a carrier that offers customers freedom from so many of the hassles often associated with cellular service. Freedom took advantage of the crowds at the French’s Food Truck Frenzy, allowing patrons to get hands on with the new phone line up.”
“Given the fact that Freedom has been pushing their big back-to-school deals, this was the perfect time for them to be on site at the CNE,” said Megan Kimmerer, Marketing and Communications Coordinator at TACK10 who was inspired by the opportunity to sign up on-site for a new phone plan. “Especially during the French’s Food Truck Frenzy last weekend, the audience demographics of young millennials made complete sense for Freedom.”

“Who knew I would be signing up for a new phone plan at the CNE?” said a patron to Katherine Scott, Manager of Strategy at TACK10. Katherine commented, “it has been an incredible partnership having Freedom Mobile on-site of the CNE. Timing is great, the target audience is engaged and interested to hear about Freedom Mobile as a new competitor to the Canadian telecom landscape!”
