Toronto parents, rejoice! Your children’s favourite cool, crazy and wacky television channel has been on site at the Canadian National Exhibition since opening day, and there are still five more days to check out the fun activation in Kids’ World!

The CNE is one of the stops on YTV‘s “Zone on the Road” summer tour, where The Zone hosts have been travelling from coast to coast to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary and interact with viewers across the country. At the CNE, kids can walk through Haully the Haul of Fame trailer to learn about each host, different shows, and fun YTV milestones from throughout the years. The positioning of the activation within Kids’ World is the perfect spot for YTV to promote its content to its target audience, and the content of the activation itself (a timeline of historic YTV events and a celebration of Canadian television) also aligns naturally with the CNE’s focus on the same pillars of history and culture.

“YTV has delivered the epitome of an integrated partnership, activating on site at the CNE with Haully, the YTV Haul of Fame trailer that gives visitors an inside look at the lives of YTV hosts,” says Laura Richard, EVP and Partner at TACK10. “Connecting the dots back to their core business, YTV hosts were filmed on site at the beginning of the CNE and content was aired throughout the dates of The Ex to encourage consumers to get down to Exhibition Place grounds and visit Haully.”

Through this partnership, YTV has also developed the Haul of Fame giveaway contest, running for the entire duration of the CNE, where participants can enter to win a new tablet by random draw. This adds yet another layer of interaction to the activation.
