One of the primary drivers for CNE visitors to attend each year is the food! With all the incredible concoctions that food vendors and concessionaires prepare for these guests, it is no wonder that brands look to elevate these amazing experiences. One brand making impact is French’s.
This year, French’s is the exclusive condiments partner of the CNE. Working with food vendors, concessionaires and food trucks, French’s Ketchup, French’s Mustard and Frank’s Red Hot portfolio was served up alongside the incredible food options, some of which include Deep-Fried Cheese Curds by the Great Canadian, Southern Slang by Fran’s Restaurant and the All Canadian Red Hot Burger by Bacon Nation in the food building.
Over the first weekend, French’s brought together some hardcore Caesar fans at the East Coast Kitchen Party by providing mix for the Great Canadian Caesar Competition. “Pizza slices, hot dogs, and pickled beans were the drink toppers and French’s new Caesar mix was the show stopper,” said Katherine Scott, Manager of Strategy at TACK10. A Caesar competition with a judging panel was an incredible way to introduce the new product to Caesar fanatics.
If you missed last weekend’s competition, you can catch French’s Food Truck Frenzy this weekend. Toronto’s favourite food trucks will be gathered around, serving their culinary masterpieces with the accompaniment of French’s condiments. The event starts at 11am on Friday August 25th, and runs throughout the weekend; you don’t want to miss it!
Laura Richard, Executive Vice President of TACK10, was blown away by the wonderful response to having French’s on-site at the CNE. “With their recent commitment to sourcing and producing French’s ketchup in Leamington, Ontario, there is a lot of pride seeing French’s across the CNE grounds,” she said.
